Have you ever had a dream that didn't come true when you thought it would? It was 2001 and I just knew that God was going to create a place for kids who had "aged out" of foster care to live and to belong. A place where they could connect, laugh, break bread, and discover God's dream for their lives -- together. Well it took a few years longer than I expected and looked a lot different than I expected but when I think of Chris or CeCe, Alvaro or Nelson, a big smile comes across my face, because I know the dream is a reality. SOSI is a place where God creates family -- for kids, volunteers and any random person who comes to fellowship night. So if you have a dream that has been on hold .. don't give up on it, or on the people that GOD wants to surround you with to make that dream possible.
